The Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriff’s Association was presented with an award for it’s many years of support from the Special Olympics of Southern California Santa Barbara Region Leadership Council. The DSA received this award at the Fired-Up for Special Olympics dinner that took place on October 7th, 2018. The DSA has been donating money to Special Olympics for many years, and we will continue to be a strong supporter of this organization.
Los Berros Elementary School PTA: Rock-N-Walk 2018
The Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriff’s Association recently donated to the Los Berros Elementary School PTA. The DSA contributed to the Rock-N-Walk 2018 event, and our DSA logo was placed on a banner in front of the school.
State Street Mile & Dog Mile Race 2018
The Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriff’s Association is proud to donate again to the State Street Mile, and we support this worthwhile organization. In 2000, the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office Victim Witness Assistance Program resurrected the State Street Mile bringing back a popular event while raising funds for the Crime Victim Emergency Fund. Teens Sing for Santa Barbara – Benefit Concert 2018
The Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriff’s Association was proud to donate to the benefit concert that took place in March of 2018. Teens Sing for Santa Barbara presented this benefit concert featuring performances by local area teens and special guest appearances by Kenny Loggins, Bill Champlin & Friends. All proceeds will go to the Unity Shoppe SB and Montecito Disaster Survivors‘ Fund!

Veterans Stand Down of Santa Barbara 2017
The Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriff’s Association made a donation to the Veterans Stand Down of Santa Barbara. This is an organization that helps men and women, who have served in our armed forces, with various services. The DSA is proud to sponsor this worthwhile organization that helps veterans with the following: access to health services, substance abuse recovery, finding employment and many other services.
