The Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriff’s Association was proud to purchase a table of 10, for the 2018 Fall Festival. The Fall Festival was an event designed to raise money for at risk youth in the Santa Barbara area. The event was held at the Carriage Museum on November 4th.
The Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriff’s Association was presented with an award for it’s many years of support from the Special Olympics of Southern California Santa Barbara Region Leadership Council. The DSA received this award at the Fired-Up for Special Olympics dinner that took place on October 7th, 2018. The DSA has been donating money to Special Olympics for many years, and we will continue to be a strong supporter of this organization.
The Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriff’s Association recently donated to the Los Berros Elementary School PTA. The DSA contributed to the Rock-N-Walk 2018 event, and our DSA logo was placed on a banner in front of the school.
The Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriff’s Association is proud to donate again to the State Street Mile, and we support this worthwhile organization. In 2000, the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office Victim Witness Assistance Program resurrected the State Street Mile bringing back a popular event while raising funds for the Crime Victim Emergency Fund.
