The United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County – Carpinteria Club serves more than 487 children and their families annually and need all of our help to replace the existing 40-year + roof which was significantly damaged during the February storms. The estimated repairs and new roof will cost approximately $150,000.
Today, Sergeant Scherbarth of the SBCDSA was able to stop by, do a little Q&A and spend some time with the kids. We were also honored to deliver a check from our membership to help with the repairs.
Public donations can be made in person or at https://www.gofundme.com/new-roof-at-the-carpinteria-club.
