The SBCDSA will be occasionally highlighting some of the community groups that we are very honored to work with. And this first group may be one of our favorites:
After their six week “build season”, the Orcutt Academy (OA) High School Robotics team has finished their 2017 robot named “Antikythera,” which is the name of the first analog robot. Each team member, along with adult mentors, spent approximately 20 to 30 hours a week designing, building, and testing their robot to comply with FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) specifications.
The Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriff’s Association is proud again to sponsor the Orcutt Academy for 2018. We wish them well.
