Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriff Dave Allcott Lost His Wife to Cancer. Please Come to the Aid of Our Brother.
On Sunday, October 18, 2020, seventeen-year LEO veteran and 4-year Army/National Guard veteran Dave Allcott lost his wife of 20 years, Lynette, to cancer. Lynette had been fighting cancer for almost two years. She leaves behind a devoted husband and three loving children: 17-year old Benjamin, 16-year old Christoffer, and 13-year old Victoria.
Dave currently serves as a bailiff at the Santa Barbara Superior Court. Dave has always been affable and positive, even throughout Lynette’s courageous battle. Dave is an esteemed and admired partner, who is well-liked and respected by his colleagues, judges, and court staff. Dave is a strong and involved family man and a man of faith.
