Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association Endorses Sheriff Chad Bianco for California Governor
Santa Barbara, CA — The Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (SBCDSA) is proud to officially endorse Sheriff Chad Bianco in his campaign for Governor of California.
The SBCDSA’s endorsement is based on Sheriff Bianco’s unmatched understanding of the real challenges law enforcement officers face every day. With over 30 years of dedicated law enforcement service, Bianco has consistently demonstrated his commitment to public safety and his ability to lead with integrity and vision.
Sheriff Bianco’s tenure in Riverside County is a testament to his commitment to safe communities. He has proven that with strong leadership, local governments can play a powerful role in protecting the public and empowering law enforcement. The SBCDSA believes Bianco’s track record speaks volumes—and that his leadership as Governor will result in real, positive change for communities across the state.
“I am extremely proud and humbled to have the endorsement and support of the men and women who protect Santa Barbara County,” said Sheriff Chad Bianco. “As a leader in law enforcement, and as your next Governor, I will restore public safety as the number one priority of our government. I will ensure that law enforcement has the tools and the support they need in their mission of service to our communities.”
Bianco’s genuine dedication to public service and his drive to improve the lives of Californians are values the SBCDSA stands firmly behind.In support of his campaign, the Santa Barbara County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association PAC contributed $30,000 to Bianco’s gubernatorial campaign. The contribution was presented to Sheriff Bianco during a fundraiser held in Santa Barbara on July 28th.
With this endorsement, the SBCDSA hopes to help make a meaningful impact in restoring California as a state that values the importance of public safety.

DSA Representatives Honoring Our Fallen and Their Families at the California Peace Officers' Memorial Ceremony. 💙🖤
The California Peace Officers’ Memorial Ceremonies are held the first week of May at the California Peace Officers’ Memorial Monument in Sacramento on State Capitol grounds. The ceremonies formally enroll peace officers who have died in the line of duty the preceding year, pay tribute to the over 1600 officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice since California became a state, and honor the families left behind.
