Ohio Agency Disbanding K-9 Unit Due to Budget Constraints

The Painesville (OH) Police Department announced this week that it will be disbanding the agency’s K-9 unit due to budget constraints and the passage of a piece of legislation that allows civilian cultivation of hemp, which the dogs cannot differentiate from illegal marijuana.
